A sense of ‘community’ is an important aspect
of the campus. An emphasis is placed on building a caring community that
gives children opportunities to use time constructively, motivate through
encouragement and high expectations, recognize accomplishment and develop
warm relationships between adults and children’ which is so essential in
developing the positive personality traits.
The campus itself is set in attractive
gardens and has a playground equipped with a variety of climbing
equipment. The air-conditioned classrooms are large and bright. Essential
elements of each room include computers connected to the internet,
malleable spaces, and book corners and mathematical and construction
spaces. The campus also houses a library, a cooking room and a covered
assembly hall.
The
air-conditioned, multipurpose Auditorium provides an elegant, functional
and versatile space for assemblies, concerts, lectures and gatherings of
all kinds, as well as for a variety of indoor games. The playgrounds
include a grass pitch, a running track, tennis, and basketball courts,
providing opportunity for a range of outdoor sports.
Every
possible care is taken to ensure that our teaching staff is of the highest
possible quality. The role of teachers extends well beyond classroom
instruction. Children need to be cared for at all times and need to know
that someone has an overall awareness of their lives at school. Teachers
are accessible to parents and pupils alike for one-to-one consultations,
are helpful in addressing individual educational needs and eager to help.
The comparatively small size of each Class enables our teachers to give
attention to each student both inside and outside the classroom.
