Chitkara International School is a conscious attempt at evolving newer ways of learning and thinking; an attempt at going beyond structured schooling into the joyful freedom of inner growth. We promise that after completing school, each and every student will have the intellectual breadth and creativity to tackle the challenge of keeping pace with increasing complexity, globalization and rapid change.

In order to ensure each and every student's talents are unfolded, developed and utilized to the fullest, the school will apply the Multiple Intelligences approach, developed by Dr Howard Gardner from Harvard University. Teaching at CIS will be student-centered, project-based and will incorporate the ‘multiple intelligences’ learning concept. While the general curriculum will be followed by every student, he will be encouraged to develop talents and interests in personal areas of academic interest, sports, theatre, music and dance for which facilities are outstanding.

CIS in its first year will offer admissions to children aged between 2 and 5 and will extend to Class X by the year 2005. Beginning with the Primary Years Program, CIS will be registering with the International Baccalaureate Programme, Geneva (Switzerland) and Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi.
